Sharp Update

The Supportive Housing American Rescue Plan(SHARP) Program utilizes HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds to assist people experiencing homelessness, those at risk of becoming homeless and other vulnerable populations.

SHARP funds may be used for acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction of rental housing. SHARP rental projects may be eligible to apply for a capitalized operating cost assistance reserve.

SHARP rental projects may receive an interest-free, forgivable development loan up to$4,000,000. SHARP rental projects receiving loans for SHARP development costs may be eligible to receive up to $2,000,000 for capitalized operating cost assistance reserve.
